Our Philosophy

[/trx_title]

When you visit Dr. Tjaart Kruger, you are not just a client in a chair. We know that there is a person connected to the teeth being worked on and we strive to make a personal connection while building a bright smile and healthy mouth. As the longest running dental practice in Somerset West, as well as the entire Helderberg region, we can guarantee that our service will not easily be matched.

Somerset West Dental is a fee for service practice, which means that after each visit the account for that day is settled. After the initial consultation, a cost estimate is provided for each patient. Patients can then submit the estimate to their medical insurers for authorisation; this will let them know which portion of the services will be covered by their insurer. Please note that patients are always responsible for their accounts, irrespective of whether or not their insurers reimburse them.

Filling materials are light-cured and immediately hard, but because of local anaesthetics it is advisable to only eat when it has worn off to prevent injury.
